Rental Guidelines

Governing and General Guidelines

1. We agree to respect the beliefs of Crystal Springs Baptist Camp as set forth in their ministry and Purpose Statement, and to do nothing by work or action that will in any way detract from same.
2. We agree to abide by the guidelines described in this contract and those posted on the grounds or communicated by the Crystal Springs Baptist Camp associates. This signer accepts the responsibility of communicating these guidelines to the participants and will follow through to ensure compliance.
3. It is understood that this contract is not binding until a signed copy bearing a signature is received in the office.
4. It is understood that if this contract and the indicated deposit are not returned to Crystal Springs Baptist Camp on or before the date shown on contract, Crystal Springs Baptist Camp is free to negotiate with another group for the retreat dates indicated.
5. Your group is requested to assist, wherever reasonable, in placing in order all facilities it has occupied. Your leaders are expected to maintain order at times and prevent damage to Crystal Springs Baptist Camp property. It is understood that Crystal Springs Baptist Camp will charge your group accordingly for damages incurred by them, including unnecessarily discharged fire extinguishers.
6. Alcoholic beverages, non-prescription drugs, fireworks and firearms and pets are not permitted at Crystal Springs Baptist Camp retreats. No smoking is allowed on camp property.
7. You are required to provide adult sponsors for your camp.

Miscellaneous

1. Crystal Springs Baptist Camp reserves the right to book another rental group, simultaneously if facility capacity allows. In that event we request that group leaders encourage those in their charge to show due consideration to other Guests.
2. Your group is expected to adhere to the prearranged and agreed upon schedule as much as possible with Crystal Springs Baptist Camp.
3. Meals are served on a buffet style basis and groups will be assigned.
4. Various but limited audio-visual resources are available for your use on a prearranged reservation basis. There is no additional charge, but groups will be expected to cover any undue damages to the equipment. Available items include: VCR and DVD, overhead projector, and sound system.

Health and Accident Insurance

The following insurance statement is now in effect:
Our camper insurance begins where yours terminates. It is only valid when your policy has been extended to its limits. In the event that you have no personal or organizational policy, our policy will provide you with complete coverage within its limits subject to policy provisions.

This means that any claim resulting from any injury at Crystal Springs Baptist Camp must first be submitted to the individual's insurance carrier.

Groups are expected to provide their own first aid kit for minor injuries. Crystal Springs Baptist Camp will not be able to dispense medication or first aid supplies.
